Jax Surf & Paddle School offers year-round surf and stand-up paddle lessons for any age or experience level as well as board and gear rentals. Whether you’re delving into the world of surf and SUP for the first time, or polishing intermediate and advanced skills, JSP School is your local go-to spot.

Our staff includes an array of experienced instructors who will cater to your learning needs, customize private lessons, and take you to the next level. Beginners eager to get their feet wet can take one of our weekend group surf or SUP classes. For more detailed instruction, sign up for one of our 60-minute, 90-minute, or 120-minute private lessons. We also operate full-day summer camps for the youngest members of the family as well as offer corporate and team-building events.

If you’re in need of gear, we’ve got you covered. We rent and sell surfboards, paddleboards, beach gear, games, and more.

This locally owned and operated business was founded by Jacksonville native Tiffany Layton Oliser, who has run surf and SUP training programs for nearly a decade. She’s won numerous surf and paddleboard competitions, and understands Northeast Florida’s unique surf conditions like a true waterwoman. Through classes, lessons and surf camps, she shares her love and knowledge for the sport with the community. Tiffany and her team of instructors practice a coaching style that is encouraging, professional, and places a strong emphasis on water safety.

Our school is located at 222 First Street in the town center of Neptune and Atlantic Beach and our Jax Surf and Paddle retail store, where you can shop for a variety of local and popular clothing, swim and surf items, is located at 241 Atlantic Boulevard. Both stores are within walking distance to public beach accesses, restaurants and shops. We love the small town vibe that permeates the area and we hope we can help you enjoy it, too.
