Lynda Serafin
Local Artist and resident of Atlantic Beach, Art by Serafin is known throughout the United States as Serafin Angels and Drifted Ashore Beach Art. Serafin has art in 5 other countries and her gallery is right here in Atlantic Beach Florida at The Atlantic Beach Arts Market. Influenced by her given name Serafin, the love for angels and the ocean has put her art onto canvases and into 1000’s of homes.
Randall McGourty
Randall grew up in several different states as a military child, becoming familiar with change and new beginnings. Through every move—new friends, new homes, new surroundings—one constant remained: her love for art. When her family eventually settled in Atlantic Beach, her artistic abilities began to flourish. By middle school, Randall had discovered her true passion for creating art.

She credits her artistic talent to her father, and after his passing from a long battle with cancer, she became even more determined to pursue art in a way that would make him proud.

Now a sophomore at Duncan U. Fletcher High School, Randall explores a variety of mediums, most often working with charcoal and pencil, though she also enjoys using acrylic paint and making her own jewelry. In the future, she hopes to become an art teacher, sharing her creativity and inspiring others just as her own art teacher has inspired her.

Caroline Bissonette
Caroline is a Florida native and a self-taught artist with an inspiring family line of artistic talent. She teaches wine glass painting classes as an avenue to grow in the local artistic community and has a goal to one day retire from her career and pursue painting full-time as her next
endeavor.
"I love merging the colors to create a sunset or just painting a simple stem within the leaf. It is as if I’m speaking to the canvas with the colors and strokes. I can capture my perspective of the picture or thought and share it with others. It’s something I’ve done since I was little, having a little painting set-up alongside my mom and her easel with a “real” canvas sitting in our little Miami apartment. That was where my love for art was created, and those memories are forever cherished. From getting lost in creating a wave to getting a shade in a portrait just right to capture the expression - while I’ve had many moments of doubt it has always been a journey of learning and exploring and is so worth it."
Linda Olsen
Becoming a full-time artist evolved from an accumulation of a lifetime experiences and careers. An adventurous childhood sailing on the coast of California, college in San Diego, teaching high school art, then 27 years as a graphic designer/Creative Director, 15 years as a professional photographer, and now painter….each chapter has given me the tools to express my ideas and create paintings that are meaningful and now internationally acclaimed. I have participated in many shows and events over the years. I have been fortunate in that my work has been published in magazines and displayed in numerous galleries nationally and internationally.
Apart from her artistic ventures, Linda is a kayaker and swimmer, allowing her to remain perpetually connected to the water that inspires much of her creativity. Her art, steeped in joyful energy and profound connection to nature, reflects her values of exploration and individual expression. As she continues to develop her unique style and broaden her artistic reach, Linda Olsen remains a testament to the enduring power of art to resonate on both personal and universal levels.

Alexx Gray
Alexx Gray is a coastal artist whose work is inspired by the ocean, beach life, sea creatures, and the vibrant energy of the tropics.

Art has been a part of Alexx’s life since childhood, and she always dreamed of turning her passion into a career. In 2020, while living in San Diego, California, she was laid off from her corporate job during the COVID shutdown. Seeking something therapeutic, she began painting surfboards — a creative outlet that quickly gained attention and evolved into a thriving business.

Since then, Alexx has been creating surfboard art full time, blending her love for the sea with her artistic vision. Her husband’s service in the U.S. Coast Guard keeps their family close to the coast, offering endless inspiration from the places they are living. Currently, they reside in Jacksonville, Florida with their two young children.
Sharon Finklea
I have lived in Jacksonville since 1954. My husband and I raised three sons in the house I currently reside in, 56 years plus. My home, interior and exterior, reflects all that my artistic brain has gifted to me.
Art has been my innate passion since I could hold a pencil or crayon. It has always been a guiding factor in how I perceive and execute anything I endeavor to accomplish. At mid-life I earned an associate’s degree in Interior Design and worked in the field for several years. I think and see all that I achieve in three dimensions which was a blessing in Interior Design. Art and design are gifts I am extremely grateful for, and love sharing them with family and friends.

Heather Callejas
Heather Callejas is a Jacksonville-based teacher, vocalist, animal foster, and creative professional. Born in Ocala, FL and raised in Chattanooga, TN, she returned to North Florida in 2005 and completed her degree in Elementary Education from UNF.

Heather currently teaches at the DePaul School of Northeast Florida, where she supports students with dyslexia and other learning differences. She strives to bring patience, encouragement, and creativity into every lesson, helping her students build confidence and find their strengths.

Along with the love she has for her students, Heather is also deeply involved in animal advocacy. She fosters dogs and cats through the city shelter, helping animals in transition to trust, to heal, and to find safety and love on their way to permanent homes.

Heather performs with the musical duo Lovely December. Their debut album, If We Were Ghosts, was released a few years ago, and they are currently working around busy schedules to write and record new music. Heather also collaborates with various companies in promotional and modeling roles, continually expanding her artistic endeavors and creative pursuits.

Outside of work, Heather is most at home near the ocean — running the shoreline, reading in the sun, sharing time with loved ones, or simply breathing in the salty air.

Shannon Stellato
Hi I'm Shannon! Thanks for taking the time to learn more about the artists of this awesome exhibit. I grew up on Long Island, NY and moved to Florida about 4 years ago to be closer to family. I quickly moved out to the beaches after falling in love with the small beach town vibe.
I graduated from Penn State with a BS in Energy Engineering and work as a Project Manager in the construction industry so I am always looking for a creative outlet. I grew up in a very artsy household and have always enjoyed making art, especially drawing and painting. Not sure what to call my style, but I really enjoy realism and still lifes. This was my first time doing a commissioned piece and I hope to do more in the future! Feel free to reach out to me or follow along on my art journey @artbyshanns !!
Leisa Albritton
If you ask a chef where they got their love of cooking from, most would say they were inspired by their mother. Although I'm not a chef, I received my passion for art from the same place! My Mom has mentored me throughout my entire artistic journey and has truly been the greatest teacher. Now as a fine artist myself, I hope to inspire others the same way she inspired me through the magical and fantastic themes in my art. If I can immerse the viewer in a sense of wonder and whimsy, I believe that I've truly fulfilled my purpose as an artist... Which is to whisk people away and capture their imaginations while also connecting with their inner sense of wonder!

Kyle Drury
Kyle Drury is an artist living and working in Jacksonville, Florida. Kyle makes mixed media paintings studying people (himself included) and their interactions with nature and domestic life.
Kyle's work falls in the sweet spot between being completely serious and having a good time. He’s learned enough about art to know what he’s doing, and he ignores enough of that junk to really enjoy doing it.
