Founded in 2001 and now a staple to the Beaches Town Center, Ocean 60 brings fresh, local-caught seafood straight from the boats of Mayport and the best martinis to Atlantic Beach. Located on the northeast corner of the town center and just a few steps from the beach, sits this hidden gem.
Whether you are looking for a 4-course meal or just want a martini that will kick start your evening, Ocean 60 has it all. Their main dining room provides a more intimate dining experience with the option to host a private event, with customized menus and private service. The “martini room” or bar area next door is where the real fun is! This room is more casual, with a very relaxing ambiance that features live music on Friday’s and happy hour specials that go unmatched.
If you haven’t checked out their luxurious martini selection, you’re going to want to now! Ocean 60 specializes in over 20 different martinis and offers an incredible happy hour Tuesday – Saturday from 5pm – 7pm, that includes $8 hand crafted martinis. Not to mention, they won Void’s #1 in the 904 for Best Martini in 2018-2020. Our personal favorite is the Grass Skirt, with vodka, pineapple juice and champagne.
On top of Ocean 60 having delicious food and drinks, they are also committed to sustaining the environment. They use bamboo bar skewers with their custom cocktail drinks to replace the usual heavy plastic skewers, which are not recyclable and not biodegradable. They also use LED rechargeable votive candles in place of glass paraffin fuel cells. Ocean 60 is no longer burning paraffin or trashing the glass containers used to hold it!
