Great food, incredible atmosphere, terrific staff and an ideal location, Coop 303 has it all. Located in the heart of Atlantic Beach on the corner of Atlantic Blvd, Coop 303 was born from a desire to serve up Florida regional cuisine, with a side of genuine, caring hospitality. Owner, Al Mansur has been opening and operating restaurants in Jacksonville for more than 30 years. He started with Al’s Pizza in 1988, Flying Iguana Taqueria & Tequila in 2013, Coop 303 in 2018 and Mezza Luna Ristorante in 2021.
They not only have multiple levels of dining with two full bars, but they also have a beautiful rooftop garden that overlooks the Beaches Town Center with seating and full-dining available. If you’d rather stay inside for the evening, their three unique rooms and seating options inside are just as enjoyable.
Coop 303 describes their style as “classic dishes and creatively concocted cocktails with a sleek, modern twist.” They offer multiple draft and bottled beers, 30 diverse wines by the bottle or glass and over 50 varieties of whiskies, on top of a full liquor selection. They offer a great happy hour from 2pm to 6pm with specially-priced cocktails and appetizers and you can’t forget about their Friday to Sunday brunch from 11am - 4pm! If you haven’t been by for their brunch yet and need a little push, just take a look at their menu here Our favorite is the short rib hash, with red pepper breakfast potatoes, red onion, bourbon bordelaise, fried egg and hot sauce aioli. Pair that with a bubbly and you’ll be set.
If you’d rather enjoy their rooftop for a dinner date, you’ll find that their menu is filled with sea and land items that will make your mouth water. One of our favorite dinner menu items is their local shrimp and grits, made with andouille sausage, sawmill gravy, stone mill creamy grits, tasso ham, roasted cherry tomatoes, scallions and crispy shallots. Don’t forget to add a fried egg on top!
“The menus are thoughtfully created with respect, humility and joy. This is FUN dining. Bring your friends and make some new ones.” - JP Diedrich, GM
