Founded in 1988, Al’s Pizza now has five locations around Jacksonville, one being in the heart of Neptune Beach across from the BTC! Al’s Pizza combines old world quality, values and work ethic with new world ambiance and award winning appeal. After working in some of New Jersey and New York’s finest pizzerias for 10 years, Al finally decided to open his first pizzeria in Jacksonville, Florida.
Al’s makes their pizza dough fresh in-house daily (sometimes even twice daily!), from scratch. Not only that, their produce is delivered 6 days a week and they only use one hundred percent whole milk mozzarella, grated daily on site so that every single ingredient and topping is as fresh as possible.
Their menu is full of delicious offerings, ranging from flatbreads to salads to some of the best pizza in Jacksonville! One of our favorites is their BLT pizza, with crispy bacon, mozzarella cheese baked on thin crust, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and a little mayo. If you are looking for something a bit more traditional, check out their Italian Pizza, with ham, salami, pepperoni, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, banana peppers, topped with a swirl of pesto.
